CLOSE CONTACT 'ESSENTIAL WORKER'

Dear Colleague, 

You have been identified as a close contact to Covid-19 and by Senior Management as an Essential Health Care Worker.

Please find attached all relevant documents.

You are to return to work, assuming you are symptom free.

  • Public Health is advising that whilst outside of work you should continue to restrict your movements.
  • Please Self monitor for symptoms for 14 days after your exposure using the symptom monitoring sheet (attached above).
  • Your manager is required to monitor you for temperature and symptoms twice daily, once at the start of your shift or to organise regular testing whilst you are derogated.
  • Wear a mask, maintain physical distance and follow appropriate IPC advice.
  • Symptoms may be different if you are immunosuppressed.
  • Immediately self isolate, and book a test through SwiftQ if you develop symptoms
  • Consider your process for self isolation in advance. 

Relevant Symptoms - Feverish (or temperature >37.5), cough, shortness of breath, aches and pains, sore throat, viral or respiratory symptoms or altered sense of smell or taste.

  • Do not take antipyretics e.g. paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin.

We will add you to our text message monitoring system. You should receive a monitoring text twice daily. Please revert to us if you have not received a text in the next 24 hours.
