You have come to the right place to learn about how and why to practice relaxation and mindfulness exercises.  Relaxation and mindfulness training are helpful for managing stress as well as helping people cope with physical illness and ongoing medical treatment.

Stress First Aid Briefing

Staff counselling, the Dept of Psychology and the Social Work Department have introduced Stress First Aid sessions - short half hour briefings on a framework for thinking about the stress we have been experiencing over recent months during the C-19 Pandemic and how best to support ourselves, out patients and our colleagues.  Developed initially for military personnel and first responders, it has recently been adapted to support health care providers during the coronavirus pandemic.
