The Phlebotomy Department carries out blood testing for out-patients Monday to Friday.

You need an appointment for a blood test if you are referred by a Beaumont Hosptial Consultant or a GP treating you outside the Hospital.

All out-patient blood tests are carried out in Beaumont Hosptial Phlebotomy Department. Please see more guidance for patients on blood testing HERE.

To arrange an appointment:

If you are a patient of a Consultant in Beaumont Hosptial and you have been asked to have blood tests before your appointment, please see HERE and select the Consultants blood test link to make an appointment to have your blood test in Beaumont Hospital
If your GP has requested you to have blood tests GP patients and family members of patients can go to the Hospital'splease see HERE and select the GP patient blood test link to make an appointment to have your blood test in Beaumont Hospital

Appointments can be made by telephone between 08:00 and 16:00 (Mon-Fri) at 01 291 0993 (standard local call rates). This facility will be available for a limited period to enable patients to become familiar with the new procedures.

If your blood test is urgent, your GP has the facility to make this appointment on your behalf from the surgery
