We are the second largest hospital in the Republic of Ireland and the principal teaching hospital for the medical school of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Beaumont Hospital is the National Centre for Neurosurgery, Renal Transplantation, Cochlear Transplantation and Alpha 1 Antitrypsin deficiency. We have multiple supra-regional specialities and provide secondary care for a large North Dublin catchment area. Beaumont is designated as a supra-regional cancer and radiotherapy centre.
International Reputation
A large Education and Research Centre run by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland on the Beaumont Hospital campus provides state of the art core molecular and cell biology facilities with a large number of clinical and basic science investigators.
The research programmes based at this Centre have established an international reputation in many disciplines, including translational programmes in Innate Immunity and Airway Inflammation run by the Academic Department of Respiratory Medicine.
