St Raphaels Ward took delivery of six new electric bed recently through a generous donation from Maples & Calder a Dublin based firm of Solicitors. This brings the number of electric beds in the ward to ten
Electric beds are beds which allow the patient or care giver to adjust both the upper and lower body positions via a remote control and adjust the height of the bed itself. There are a host of benefits for the patient such as more comfort, aiding circulation and breathing and recovery post surgery.
St Raphaels Ward are very grateful for this donation which provides much needed extra comforts and supports for our young patients.
