The 11th Annual Quality and Patient Safety Meeting took place on Wednesday 15th November. This year the theme of the meeting was "Learning Everyday – Making a Difference". The standard of work presented was of a very high quality with initiatives striving to improve the care we provide to our patients coming through strongly in the presentations. In total there were 95 posters displayed and 9 podium presentations from across all aspects of the patients' journey.
Thank you to our Keynote Speakers Mr Bobby Norris a former patient who gave an uplifting and engaging talk on his experience as a thrombectomy patient here following a stroke, and to Dr Allan Goldman, CHO Childrens Health Ireland who spoke about translating lessons in managing risk from other high risk industries, into healthcare
