From Aug 1st 2024 all appointments for out-patient blood tests will take place in Beaumont Hospital and not in St Josephs Hospital.

Information for patients on arrangement for attending appointments in Beaumont Hospital, St Joseph’s Hospital Raheny & OMNI Outpatient Centre
All elective services for patients who need to attend the Hospital for scheduled appointments and procedures are running as normal. Where appropriate we continue to offer telephone and virtual video out-patient consultations to patients, especially for those with long term conditions who require on-going management and may not need to attend for their consultation in person.
It is very important that you do not attend the Hospital for your appointment if you have a temperature or are feeling unwell. Please phone the number on your appointment letter to reschedule.

Visiting Arrangements
Only two visitors per patient is allowed during our routine visiting hours and children under the age of 16 years are not permitted to visit except in exceptional circumstances.
End of life care and compassionate visiting is only permitted at the discretion of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Visitors and patients must adhere to good hand hygiene practices and wear a facemask when visiting wards and other clinical areas.
Please do not attend the hospital if you have COVID-19 symptoms or any other transmissible infection, e.g., diarrhoea, vomiting, influenza-like illness, rash illness
Visitors can also take an antigen test prior to attending the hospital as an additional protective measure.
Routine Visiting
Monday to Friday : 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm only
Weekends and Public/Bank Holidays : 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm and 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm only
Visiting will not be permitted outside of these hours
Exceptional visiting
Exceptional visiting due to End of Life care or vulnerable patients whereby time is not restricted. Visiting must be pre-arranged in agreement with the Clinical Nurse Manager of the ward/unit Please contact the ward directly and speak to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Please note these recommendations may be subject to change as community or hospital prevalence increases. Please do not attend the hospital to visit if you are unwell.

Waiting list validation exercise notification - Oct 2024
During the month of October 2024, Beaumont Hospital will be working with the National Treatment Purchase Fund to validate our waiting lists. All patients on our outpatient and inpatient / daycase waiting lists will receive a letter in the post. Patients are asked to respond to the letter by using the stamped addressed envelope or the QR code provided in the letter. Engagement in the process is appreciated and will help ensure our waiting lists are accurate and up to date.
