About us
Podiatry / Chiropody is a healthcare profession which specialises in the treatment of disorders of the lower limb and especially the foot.
The scope of practice of the Podiatrist ranges from the treatment of minor foot ailments to the management of the patients with diabetes, vascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis and nerve damage.
In Beaumont Hospital the majority of patients that are seen by the Podiatry Department are high risk patients as outlined above.
Referrals
These are welcome from within the Hospital (i.e. consultant) and as inpatient referrals from the wards.
Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8.30am - 4.00pm.
Location
We are located opposite Clinic C in the Outpatients department.
