General Services Division

About us 

The General Services division is responsible for the management and administration of corporate services within the Hospital

The role of the General Services Manager is to provide strategic and opeartional direction to the above services by planning, implementing, managing and monitoring all services, ensuring compliance with best practice and National Standards, and providing a range of non-clinical support services hospital wide as listed above.

Our staff aim each day to deliver a quality service to patients, staff and visitors and are the cornerstone of our service.

General Services Administration Office

The General Services Office is open from Monday to Friday 09:00 to 13:00 & from 14:00 to 17:00 (excluding Bank Holidays).  The Department provides the following services

  • Management of the hospital's general queries on the above services, the management of the TV's hosptial wide, water cooler contracts and the management of postal costs
  • Management of operational issues regarding non-clinical support services
  • Administration support services throughout the department
  • Management of household services in a number of areas including the Boardroom, Committee Room, Consultants Committee Room, etc
  • Managing the diary for bookings of the Boardroom and Committee Room
  • Management of the staff change facilities and allocation of lockers to staff
