About us
The Pulmonary Function Department is responsible for the testing the performance of the lungs .It compares the function of the lungs against what would be expected from the normal lungs of a person of a similar age, weight, sex and height. Pulmonary Function tests are essential in diagnosis, initiation and monitoring of drug therapy and in continuous clinical assessment.

Hours and Access to services
The department opens Monday - Friday 08.30 to 4.20 pm.
The service is accessed by:
- Referral from a consultant/ team
- Referrals from G.P. for spirometry and bronchodilator response testing
Outpatients are seen by appointment only
