About us
The aim of the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT), with the support of all within the Hospital, is to reduce the risk of infection through education, surveillance and action. This can be achieved using evidence-based practice and guidelines. The IPCT seeks to provide a management structure and service compatible with modern standards and in line with the Strategy for the Control of Antimicrobial Resistance in Ireland (SARI).
