The Department of Nursing, with a multinational staff of over 1100 highly skilled nurses and trained care assistants, plays a central role in the delivery of quality care to  our patients

The Department of Nursing has a wide range of professional opportunities for Staff Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Managers and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

Nursing Philosophy

The Philosophy ensures that Nursing is committed to providing holistic patient-centred care to the highest possible standard in partnership within the interdisciplinary team.

Structure

The Department of Nursing is managed by the Director of Nursing, Sinead Connolly who is accountable at executive level for the nursing services of the Hospital, including St Josephs Hospital, Raheny and the Raheny Community Nursing Unit.
