About the GP Blood Testing Service

The GP Blood Testing service is an appointment-only clinic located in Beaumont Hospital. (GP ordered blood tests will no longer be done in St Joseph's Hosptial from Aug 1 2024) 

Please book your blood test through the link above or phone the booking line at 01 291 0993. The online appointment system for the clinic improves access to and reduces waiting times for appointments.

Information for Patients

Patients should bring a GP Request form, which should be filled out legibly and completely to include all patient details with GP name and address.

• GP patients for Oral G.T.T i.e. (Oral Glucose Tolerance Test) should be fasting for 12 hours. This test takes two hours to complete.

Please note that there are no services on Public Holidays.
