Before your procedure:
- You will receive a phone call within 48 hours of your appointment for pre-procedure screening.
- If you have a temperature or are feeling unwell, please do not attend for your appointment. Please contact (01) 809 2063/2065 to re-schedule
- Please ensure you have arranged a lift home following your procedure.
- Please ensure that you read the information leaflet regarding medication/fasting etc and follow the specific instructions relating to your procedure.
The day of your procedure:
- All patients attending the Cardiology Day Ward will enter through the hospital main entrance.
- Facemasks are still required to be worn by all patients attending a healthcare setting and for those who may have to accompany them
Appointment times must be strictly adhered to.
- Please bring a list of your current medications.
- Please bring your medical card or private health insurance details as appropriate.
