INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS ATTENDING GENERAL OUT-PATIENT APPOINTMENTS

All patients will continue to be contacted by the Hospital about their appointment.

Please do not come to the Hospital for an appointment unless you are contacted by us and asked to attend. 

What can I expect when I come for my out-patient appointment?

We have changed the way outpatient services are delivered and the following safety measures have been put in place for patients who need to attend the outpatient department.

  • Staff will be on hand to guide and help you and we ask that you please adhere to their instructions and follow the floor markings through the clinics.
  • Patients are being asked to attend no more than 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment time, to ensure safe physical and social distancing and to avoid over-crowding.
  • If you are attending outpatients department (Clinic A,B,C,D,E,F) we ask that you check in through the tented area to the left hand side of the main entrance to the Hospital
  • We request that you attend unaccompanied where possible. Children are not permitted to attend.
  • Please bring a list of your current medications.
  • Please bring your medical card or private health insurance details as appropriate.
  • Staff will perform temperature checks and provide facemasks, for all patients and relatives
  • .Patients will be directed to the appropriate outpatient waiting area - Clinic A,B,C,D,E,F
  • Please maintain social distancing at all times and avail of the hand sanitisers provided
