Professor Agha is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Beaumont Hospital and the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland . He graduated from Trinity College in Dublin and underwent basic medical training followed by specialist training in Endocrinology and Diabetes in Dublin. He subsequently completed research and clinical fellowship posts at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London before returning to Dublin. Professor Agha's research interests include the areas of pituitary and thyroid disorders. He has more than 100 peer reviewed publications on pituitary and endocrine topics. He is the recipient of several national and international research and publication awards. He was a Senior Editor of BMC Endocrine Disorders between 2014 and 2020.
