Please clean your hands with soap and water OR with the hand gels located throughout the Hospital. It is especially important to clean your hands after you cough or sneeze, before meals, and after going to toilet. Hands also can be soiled after contact with the physical environment.

The Hospital welcomes feedback on all services for patients and members of the public which includes hygiene services for cleaning, laundry & waste management. Your feedback is used to continually improve the experience of everyone who uses of services. The Hospital has in place a hygiene monitoring programme to ensure services are maintained in line with national standards.
In line with the law, we prohibit smoking in Beaumont Hospital. You can find out more about this in our Smoke Free information leaflet, which you can find on every ward. If you would like to stop smoking and want some support, you can contact our Health Promotion Department on (01) 8092941 to use our Quit Smoking support service. You might also like to call the National Smokers Quitline on 1850 201 203 for support and advice around quitting.
If English is not your first language and you need help, please contact a staff member or the patient representatives office at (01) 809 3234 who will arrange an interpertor for you. Please inform us in plenty of time ahead of your appointment if you need this service.
If you are deaf or hearing impaired and you need assistance with attending an appointment or speaking with a staff member, please contact the Patient Representatives Office at (01) 809 3234. They can arrange a sign language interpreter. There are also a number of departments who have a text message system to communicate with hearing impaired patients.
The Hospital Chaplaincy Department provides a full pastoral services for patients of all faiths. Our chaplains can be contacted at (01) 809 3229 (Chaplaincy office) or (01) 852 8164 (Chaplain on Duty). Their email address is chaplaincy@beaumont.ie
The Hospital Chapel is inter-denominational; patients of all faiths are very welcome to visit. The Chapel is open 24 hours a day for quite reflection and Mass is celebrated at the following times in Beaumont Hospital
The Hospital Shop is operated by XXL and is located on the main concourse. Opening hours are from 7am -8pm Monday to Friday and from 9am – 6pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

The Security Office is on the main corridor just past our reception desk. Security staff are on duty 24 hours per day to provide a safe and secure environment for anyone who comes in our door.
There is a CCTV system in operation throughout the Hospital both internally and externally as well as access control systems. Security can be contacted by calling to the office or phoning (01) 809 2110.
There is a delivery of post Monday to Friday to the hospital from An Post where it is sorted in our Post Room. Ward staff collect post for their area. There is a post box outside the main front door which is collected daily at 3.45pm.
There are two serviced Bank of Ireland cash machines located on the main concourse of the hospital.
