The GP Blood Testing service is an appointment-only clinic located in the phlebotomy department in Beaumont Hospital.
All blood tests must be booked through an online system called Swiftqueue and need a GP referral. Please advise your patients that blood tests must be booked in advance. The online appointment system for the clinic improves access to and reduces waiting times for appointments. Unfortunately we are unable to tend to patients who present to our phlebotomy department without an appointment. You can advise your patient that they can phone the booking line at 01 291 0993 if that is easier for them. You can also make an appointment on behalf of a patient. Please advise your patient if they need any special preparation for their blood test, for example if they need to fast prior to attending.

Test results are automatically send via Healthlink to the referring GP. Urgent results may be phoned through to the GP practice
