Beaumont Hospital
Before your procedure you will be invited to attend our pre-assessment (pre-op) clinic to ensure you are in good health for your upcoming procedure.
The Pre-Operative Assessment Unit (POA) operates out of Beaumont Private Clinic, on the Beaumont Hospital Campus. POA is dedicated to preparing patients for surgery by ensuring they are in optimal health before their procedure. Our aim is to assess and minimise potential risks while providing essential information to patients about their upcoming surgery. Pre-Assessment Patients may be assessed via face-to-face consultations or telephone assessments depending on their health needs. The multidisciplinary approach involves collaboration between administrative staff, nurses, doctors, and anesthetists.
