About us

The team is responsible for:

• The administration of various superannuation and pension schemes.
• Offering an advisory service for current & retired staff members on their superannuation entitlements.
• Implementing ongoing legislative changes to the superannuation code.
• Coordinating the transfer of pension service.
• Supporting staff in pre-retirement planning.
• Providing retirement estimates and calculating retirement pension and lump sum benefits at retirement. 

The Superannuation Section provides a key role for the hospital in recognising the contribution of retired staff members and is central to supporting the activities and events of the Active Retirement Group.
