Dr. John Fitzgerald

A graduate of UCD, Dr. Fitzgerald completed specialist training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine with the College of Anaesthetists Ireland (CAI) in 2017. He achieved additional qualifications during this time including fellowship with the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine, Ireland and EDIC with the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. He subsequently pursued addition subspecialty training in Toronto, Canada in the fields of cardiovascular anaesthesia, transesophageal echo, regional anaesthesia and pain management. His research interests are in the field of coagulation management and bleeding outcomes.
