A visit to a Daffodil Centre provides people affected by cancer with the chance to ask questions and talk through their concerns with a cancer nurse and trained volunteers. They provide information and support on a wide variety of cancer types, and offerguidance on coping with the physical, emotional and practical impact of cancer. The centres has a full range of Irish Cancer Society patient booklets and leaflets about cancer as well as having an information point where you can browse through the Society’s website and other cancer-related information online.
The Daffodil Centre in Beaumont Hospital is part of the Irish Cancer Society’s cancer support service. It is a free, walk in service where experienced cancer nurses and specially trained volunteers are on hand to provide face to face information and support to anyone affected by cancer. Patients, family members, healthcare professionals or anyone concerned about cancer can visit the centre without an appointment or a referral.
We are here Monday to Friday from 08.00 – 16.00 and are conveniently located just inside the main front door so you will pass us on your way in or out of the hospital

Visitors are welcome to browse the many booklets and leaflets we stock or use our information point. A nurse or volunteer will be on hand to help you find what you are looking for. If you’re not able to visit us, we’re happy to talk to you over the phone or you can email us.
