Our walk in emergency services are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. There is a €100 government levy but this does not apply if a patient has a GP referral letter which can either be given to the patient or sent to the GP Liaison service at the email address below.
There is an additional charge for non EU residents. We would appreciate if GPs could make sure that this cohort of patients are aware of the ED or hospital admission charges they may incur - particularly those without medical insurance or those not familiar with the Irish health service.

The role of the ED GP Liaison Nurse led service is to act as a conduit between our Emergency Department, the GP and other local community services. Please note that ED discharge letters can only be sent to a registered email address via Healthlink. This service is available to doctors and medical professionals in GP practices by phoning 01 809 3985 / 809 2708 or by emailing gpliaison@beaumont.ie.
Please note that this is not a public contact phone number/email address and staff are unable to answer queries from the public (patient/relatives) not can they update callers on current care of patients in ED or appointments if the patient was registered in other areas of the hospital.For more information please see our emergency department page
