Paula O'Connor, Interim Clinical Services Director

Paula is a CORU Registered Dietitian and starting working in Beaumont Hospital in December 1999.  After working in a number of clinical areas across the hospital, Paula moved into the In Charge III Dietitian Manager role in 2007 to cover a maternity leave.  She worked in a combined clinical and management role until 2015 when she moved in the Dietitian Managers role in a full time capacity. 

Claire Noonan, Chief Operations Officer

Claire joined Beaumont Hospital in 2018, having trained and worked as a nurse and Clinical Nurse Manager at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin, since 1997. She initially joined the nursing team at Beaumont and progressed to Deputy Director of Nursing before taking the lead in developing the Cancer Directorate and the Beaumont RCSI Cancer Centre as Operations and Accreditation Lead. The Cancer Centre was successful accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI) in 2022.

Anne Coyle is Chief Executive of Beaumont Hospital and commenced on 26th August 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in healthcare leadership.  Anne began her career as a Physiotherapist, which provided a strong foundation for understanding the needs of patients and healthcare providers alike.  

Niamh Lynch, Director of Finance & Procurement

Niamh Lynch was appointed Interim Director of Finance in July 2023, where she oversee the hospital’s financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility, strategic budget planning, and operational efficiency. With 20 years of experience in healthcare finance, Niamh brings a proven track record of improving financial performance, streamlining processes, and supporting organisational growth.

David Sweeney, Deputy CEO

David joined Beaumont Hospital in mid 2018 as Director of HR and has a strong knowledge of health services management with close to 30 years experience in the health sector with a particular interest in promoting staff engagement and development.

David has lead a team of highly skilled HR professionals who promote and support the personal development of staff, our key resource, and promotes a working environment conducive to positive employee relations through effective and innovative best practice HR policies.

Orthoptic Department

An Orthoptist is a highly skilled health and social care professional involved in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of eye movement and vision disorders.  These include double vision, visual field loss, defective eye movements, and visual perception deficits.  Orthoptists are an integral part of the eye care team and work closely with the Ophthalmologist. 

Edel Moloney

Edel is a member of the senior management team in Speedpak, a social enterprise with two commercial businesses, providing work experience, skills training and supports for long- term unemployed people. She has been a key driver in the development and rollout of innovative, award winning programmes, and the successful progression of trainees to employment.

Previously, she worked in the financial sector both in Ireland and the UK providing advice and training to corporate clients on legal and compliance issues.
