The Facilities & Estate Management Department, also known as TSD, manages and maintains the buildings, equipment, and systems that support the daily operations of the hospital on a site comprising approx 90,000 SqM of built stock. The team play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the facilities which make up the campus built environment. The department’s key focus is to ensure hospital building services that are fundamental to the delivery of clinical care continue to be available when and as required.

Major Incident Planning

The hospital has a statutory duty to ensure a plan is in place in accordance with the National Framework for Emergency Management. The purpose of the Major Incident Plan is to set out the procedures that will enable effective and co-ordinated planning and response in the event of a major emergency being declared resulting in a large number of casualties attending the hospital. The Internal Incident Plan covers a wide range of Internal Incidents which have the potential to disrupt the normal function of the hospital.

Mark  joined Beaumont in 1990, and spent the first few years working in Medical Records.  In 1998 he joined the IT Department as a Computer Operator and over the years lead the service desk and incident management team and laterly was the driving force for the virtualisation project. Prior to his appointment as ICT Director on February 2014, his most recent role was as Computer Operations Manager.

The Finance Department is dedicated to ensuring the financial health and stability of Beaumont Hospital. We oversee and manage all aspects of finance budgeting and reporting, account payable and Accounts receivable where patients pay hospital bills.

Beaumont Hospital is a large academic teaching hospital who creates, collects and stores personal information on the people who use our services every day. The way in which we manage this information is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018.

Radiology

Our Radiology Department offers an extensive radiology service to all our patients, either as in-patients or as outpatients across the country and in particular the Dublin North East Region. St. Joseph’s Hospital also provides radiology services. And we provide outpatient ultrasound services in the Omni Park shopping centre.

iPainCentre

The iPainCentre is Beaumont Hospitals integrated community based pain service. The service follows best evidence for the management of non-specific low back pain, radicular pain, widespread pain and fibromyalgia syndrome. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those living with chronic pain in our community.
